Mũthoni Kiarie is Head of Marketing and Industry Engagement at Zult, a company building the connective network that private markets run on. Zult makes tokenized real-world assets, from private credit to real estate, discoverable, accessible, and auditable across the many venues where they trade, bringing the transparency and efficiency of modern markets to assets that have long been fragmented and hard to reach.
She is also Co-Founder and Executive Director of Zult Impact, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit expanding capital access for the community lenders who serve small businesses that traditional finance overlooks. Across both roles her aim is the same: use new financial infrastructure to build durable economic opportunity for the people and places it too rarely reaches.
She has spent much of her career at the intersection of finance and technology. Over nearly two decades at Wells Fargo, she most recently led go-to-market strategy for the Digital Assets Center of Excellence, helping one of the world's largest banks build credibility in blockchain-based finance. Earlier she helped found the Financial Data Exchange and scaled it from a handful of members into the standard-bearer for open banking in North America.
A longtime advocate for women entrepreneurs and underserved communities, Mũthoni serves on the board of a Uganda-based nonprofit, Zena, that supports and mentors women in business. Her commitment is rooted in her Kenyan upbringing and early grassroots development work, and in a belief in economic opportunity for everyone.
