Born in 1958, Mulenga graduated from the University of Zambia with a B.A in Psychology and Sociology in 1981. She is an author and playwright, a trainer, public speaker and cultural advocate. She has served and chaired continental as well as national Boards in various sectors and co-founded the Women's History Museum of Zambia.
