As a first-generation Mexican American and the founder of Ritzy Periwinkle, Marisa Estrada Rivera (also known as Ritzy P) brings over 20 years of experience spanning the music, art, and emerging tech industries. Named one of Butterscotch Media’s 2025 Web3 Changemakers to Watch, she helps businesses adapt to the evolving tech landscape through her consultancy, designing innovative strategies for growth and impact. Marisa is a partner at Hola Metaverso, dedicated to developing educational and bridge-building experiences in emerging tech across the U.S. and Latin America.
A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in emerging tech, Marisa is a board member of Women of Web3, where she presented at the UN General Assembly 78th & 79th Science Summits. She is also a co-author of Women in Web3: Inclusive Futures, with proceeds funding STEM scholarships for young women globally.
As a member of the National Policy Network of Women of Color in Blockchain, Marisa has contributed to critical conversations, serving as a delegate at the 5th Congressional Briefing of Women of Color in Blockchain in Washington, DC. She also contributed to the Crypto Council for Innovation and W.K. Kellogg Foundation report, Building a More Equitable Web3, which explores how Web3 can drive empowerment and financial inclusivity.
In addition to her work in emerging tech and advocacy, Marisa hosts Word To Your Mama, a podcast amplifying diverse voices—from Oscar winners to activists. She also co-hosts The Get Down, where they explore policy, market trends in emerging tech, and their impact on Black, Latin@, and Indigenous communities.
