Debora Carrizo is a software engineer and tech entrepreneur born in Argentina, former basketball player, her first passion is technology. She is a natural dreamer and always considered that technology has to be used to create a better world.
With more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry, Debora worked for several international companies developing, leading, and managing technical teams and projects in different countries. In 2009, she was the first woman to become a team member of the IBM Security Innovation Lab of USA, being this experience the beginning of a strong orientation to research and innovation. Together with IBM Argentina, Debora had the opportunity to run Design Thinking sessions for kids in elementary schools representing the sector of Latin Women in Tech.
Nowadays, Debora is the founder and CEO of Sein, a Tech Innovation software company that started during the global pandemic and was inspired by the desire of helping entrepreneurs and businesses to build digital solutions for global social and environmental challenges. Making new inroads inside the Web3 sector, she is a Board Member of BullProject, a Web3 startup created to bring better job opportunities for people in Latin America.
As a Latina, Debora’s main goal is to inspire and support women from Latin America to follow their dreams and not feel that their gender, color, or nationality is a limiting factor for growth or success.
