Sam

Founder and Data Scientist, Financial Technology, Web3 Pioneer, and Global Director BitAngels

Sam's career began in hospice nursing, where she dedicated more than a decade to guiding patients and families through life's most difficult transitions. After a near-fatal accident and health crisis in 2012, she redirected her servant's heart toward financial technology—vowing to champion "underdogs" with innovations that serve humanity.

Today, Sam is the CEO of Tech & Authors, a creative incubator where she publishes poetic technical education, secures funding for startups, and launches initiatives at the intersection of blockchain, AI, and Web3. She is the Global Director of BitAngels, the world's longest-running angel network and accelerator in fintech. Her leadership and passion extends across founding teams at MarketLeverage, Legion Capital, Vatom, CETI.AI, coinResearch.ai, and the Bitcoin Startup Lab Accelerator.

Sam co-founded GIVE Nation, a children's financial literacy protocol that rewards altruism, and has contributed her vision to organizations including DeFiance.TV, Constellation, Lattice Exchange, NewLife.ai, the World Ethical Data Forum, Women in Blockchain, and the Liberland Foundation Aide. She continues to mentor women and children entering STEM fields, emphasizing education, empowerment, and ethical innovation.

As an author, Sam has written for over 15 technology magazines and published six books that have earned #1 New Release and Best Seller honors in more than 14 categories across science, education, and business. Her groundbreaking 2017 stablecoin research became the first published book on the subject, cementing her reputation as a leading voice in financial technologies. Her latest release, The Nifty Encyclopedia: An Unbiased Definitive Guide to NFTs (2023), features contributions from Web3 pioneers including Craig Sellars, Eric Pulier, Reeve Collins, and J.R. Willett, along with thought leaders Joel Comm and Travis Wright.

Her journey is marked by resilience, empathy, and vision. From overcoming life-threatening illness to building global initiatives, Sam demonstrates how technology can be wielded with compassion and integrity. Whether advising Fortune 500 companies, mentoring youth, or teaching at Ivy League universities, she advocates for innovation that prioritizes humanity, sustainability, and inclusion.

A mother, nurse, and technologist, Sam embodies the philosophy that compassion and innovation together can transform not only industries but also lives. She continues to work at the frontier of FinTech and Web3, committed to shaping a future where ethical technology uplifts communities worldwide.
